When I found out Israel’s operation in Iran was called “Rising Lion,” it spoke to exactly how I’ve been feeling.
Because that’s what it feels like to be Jewish right now.
Scared. Proud. Awake. Protective. Holding so much.
We’re refreshing updates while making Shabbat plans.
Trying to stay strong for our kids, while quietly falling apart in the group chat.
Feeling the ache of generations in our bones – and the fire of Jewish pride in our chest.
It’s a lot. And if your heart feels like it’s carrying too much today too, you’re not alone.
If you’re feeling scared, anxious, or just need to be around people who get it, we’re gathering this Sunday June 15 for 5 days of comfort and connection inside our Make a New Jewish Bestie & Let It All Out Challenge – completely free. Because no one should feel alone right now
✡️ Prayer for Israel – and for Peace
May the land we love be surrounded with protection.
May every soldier of the IDF be shielded with strength and courage.
May every innocent – Israeli or Iranian – be protected.
May the brave people of Iran find the freedom they seek.
And may the regime that spreads terror and hate fall away,
so that peace has a chance to rise.
We pray for wisdom for our leaders,
calm for our anxious hearts,
and unity among our people.
May we see light in the darkness,
hope in the uncertainty,
and a future rooted in justice, safety, and peace.
You’re stronger than you know…
And remember – Hashem is constantly protecting us, even when we’re feeling vulnerable or afraid.
“הִנֵּה לֹא יָנוּם וְלֹא יִישָׁן שׁוֹמֵר יִשְׂרָאֵל”
“Hineh lo yanum v’lo yishan, shomer Yisrael.”
Behold, the Guardian of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps. (Tehillim 121:4)
